The reason why teenagers spend a lot of time on the use of social networking sites is because they want to spend their spare time on chatting with web friends rather than doing other things in real life,for example: reading books, chatting with classmates and parents, watching TV,etc. On the other head, maybe teenagers want to know more things about their friends, for example: birth date, dating status, friends,etc.
2) How the social networking sites make the peer relationship closer?
The reason why social networking sites can make the peer relationship closer is because things on it can make peers have more topics to talk about , for example when your friends change their status to" in a complex dating relationship", then your peers can discuss about what relationship is your friends in. When you talk more with your friends, it can make your peer relationship closer.

3) What do you think about the potential problems behind the social networking sites?
I think that the potential problems behind the social networking sites is about spreading user's privacy, when you type in your information on social networking sites, your information will be spreaded.Maybe the company behind the social networking sites will sell your information to other companyies to make big profit.This is the only thing i concerned about social networking sites.
4)Are there any ways for releasing the risks?
Yes, there are ways to release the risks. The way is not to type in too much personal informations like ID card numbers, your home adress, cell phone numbers,etc.
